Welcome back to The Leap! A newsletter to help individuals and businesses take their productivity to the next level.
There’s something all the top performers in the world have in common.
Let’s jump into it!
Coaches
I’ve always been a huge sports fan. I love watching Basketball, Golf, Football, UFC, just about anything really.
No matter the sport, there’s something all the top athletes have in common. They have a coach.
Steph Curry, the greatest shooter ever, has a coach.
Tiger Woods, the greatest golfer ever, has a coach.
Why do top performers still utilize coaches, even when they surpass them in skill?
And why should you consider a coach?
Here are 3 reasons:
1. Fresh Perspective
Having an outside viewpoint can make all the difference. We often have many blind spots we can't see.
2. Accountability
Simply having someone to hold you accountable makes all the difference.
3. Skill Development
No matter where you’re at, there is always room for improvement.
Often having a coach or mentor is looked at as a weakness and that you can’t figure it out on your own.
Nothing could be further from the truth.
It shows a commitment to continuous growth and the recognition that there is always more to learn.
Whether it be in your personal life or business, everyone can benefit from a coach.
The investment may just save you years of time and money.
That’s it for this week.
